As more treatments for multiple sclerosis are developed patients can help not only those affected by the condition now but also those in the future as well by enrolling in properly conducted clinical trials.

Michelle Apperson, MD, PhD, Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Program and an assistant clinical professor at University of California, Davis, discussed the importance of patients engaging in these trials during the annual ACTRIMS meeting in New Orleans.
