Martha Clare Morris, ScD, from Rush University Medical Center discussed the history of the "Mind Diet" during a recent interview with MD Magazine. Morris said the diet her team developed is similar to certain aspects of the Mediterranean and DASH Diet with a focus on certain food groups proven to be good for protecting neurological and cognitive functions to help slow progression of dementia and Alzheimer's.
