Mobile App Lets Docs Play Clinical Games and Win Points for Amazon Gift Cards

With Pri-Med’s newest mobile App, physicians can battle it out via clinical content games designed to educate, inform, and entertain.

The company launched Pri-Med Mobile on June 17 for use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android. It will be available for the blackberry in July.

The mobile app offers clinicians access to medical education and information through Featured Experts, Pri-Med Live Meeting Content, and Patient Cases. The pieces are designed for easy and clear viewing and last no longer than 10 minutes. Discussion boards and comment fields also offer health care practitioners a platform to exchange ideas with peers and discuss hot topics.

The two clinical gaming offerings are Pri-Med Monthly Medical challenge and Mental Health Challenge. The games allow physicians to compete against one another to be the first to solve the clinical content game. Gaming points earned are then redeemable for Amazon gift cards.
