In this HCP Live Cure Connections series, expert faculty gastroenterologist Dr. Mazyar Malakouti and patient panelist Jaimi Harrison discuss the patient journey through inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), from diagnosis to remission with biologic therapy. The conversation explores symptom recognition, treatment selection, monitoring strategies, medication safety concerns, and the importance of early intervention and ongoing communication between patients and providers.
