The Internet can be a powerful tool for promoting health with its abundant resources on adopting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Recalling medications, their side effects, dosing, and other information is a huge responsibility for professional nurses, and it is a duty that must be taken seriously. In nursing school, specifically in my pharmacology class, I remember how laborious it was trying to memorize the specifics of a variety of medications, and I started using Epocrates during this time to assist me with this endeavor.

Electronic communication technologies have radically changed our world, transforming almost every aspect of our daily lives. Most of the tasks we need to perform can be handled electronically, from paying bills and shopping to communicating with friends and family.

Large organizations with mobile workers, such as hospitals, face diminished productivity when communication is inefficient and its employees are unable to locate their coworkers in a timely manner.

Despite major advances in communication technologies, numerous hospitals and clinics still use overhead paging, intercoms, Walkie Talkies, and other antiquated methods to reach staff members.
