The goal of this HCPLive® Peer Exchange: Institutional Best Practices for Treating Schizophrenia, which was facilitated by Peter Salgo, MD, was to review the benefits of early use of long-acting injectable (LAI) antipsychotic medications in patients with schizophrenia and to discuss system protocols that are in place for the use of LAIs in institutional settings.
