Creating art can be therapeutic. Since 2004, Lilly Oncology has held its Oncology on Canvas Art Competition and Exhibition, with more than 3000 individuals sharing their cancer experiences in art and narrative. If you want to share your experience with cancer or know a patient who may be interested in doing so, visit www.LillyOncologyOnCanvas.com for more on the competition and how to enter. Winners of the competition select which cancer charity will receive the prize donation, and, following the competition, much of the artwork will be shown at various cancer centers, hospitals, and patient advocacy events throughout the country. Artwork and narratives may also be televised nationally, showcased on the Internet, or appear in print.
