At the recent American Diabetes Association annual meeting Lilly Diabetes had more than 60 disclosures discussing their latest work in the field. Of all that work the Mosaic study was arguably the biggest news to come out of New Orleans.

Speaking at the conference David M. Kendall, said the event was a chance to show the work the company was doing across type I and type II diabetes and what the future can hold for this condition which affects so many people on a daily basis. The Mosaic study looked at insluin intensification and how that can affect the patients in their lives. Kendall said the study showed just how important it is for patients and providers to have a strong relationship in an effort to help manage symptoms and change treatment options accordingly.
