Diabetes technology represents a new realm of disease management that, for many, also represents a challenge. Whether it be people naive to the new technology or other members of the care team who are unfamiliar with optimal implementation strategies, optimizing diabetes technology, which has been shown to improve outcomes, can be viewed as a hurdle for many with diabetes.
