Slakey, from Tulane University said doctors now have the ability to treat conditions with much less invasive surgeries than were remotely possible just a few years ago. Slakey said much like other parts of the medical field Tulane is using a team approach to these conditions which can help expedite the patient's recovery period and ensure they are getting the best care possible leading up to and after surgery.
