Dr. Russell Barkley Discusses New Treatments for ADHD [Podcast]

Dr. Barkley speaks about treating ADHD and explores new research that is being done to better understand the condition.

Russell A. Barkley, PhD, is internationally recognized for his work with ADHD in children and adults. Barkley has specialized in ADHD for more than 30 years and is currently a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina.

In this interview, Barkley explains in detail how to treat ADHD and take control.

“What we really are seeing are serious problems with the brain’s executive abilities. These abilities are what allow people regulate their own behavior to become independent and self reliant so that they can organize themselves and accomplish what they set out to do.”
