Emad Kandil, MD, the chief of endocrine surgery at Tulane University discussed this development and what it has meant for patients undergoing these delicate procedures. Tulane has made a name for itself as one of the leaders in this field and Kandil said they offer somer surgical options which cannot be found at any other institution in the country.
