ENDO 2016: Women’s Health – Part 1

In this ENDO 2016 update, we summarize the new scientific statement on compounded bioidentical hormones and report on a device to treat infertility.

In the first half of this update on women’s health from ENDO 2016, we summarize the Endocrine Society’s scientific statement on compounded bioidentical hormones, presented by Nanette Santoro, MD of the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Aurora, CO. We also explore the findings of Monica Laronda, PhD of Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, whose group created an implanted device to treat infertility in a mouse model.
