History of Present Illness:
A woman in her mid-30’s comes to the ER for swollen glands in her neck for the past 3 days with associated sore throat. On your history, she denies any medical history but is currently breastfeeding a 6-month-old. She denies any SOB, fever or cough, or decrease in PO intake but is worried she may have strep throat or COVID due to recent exposure.
Vital Signs & Physical Exam:
Vital signs are normal as is her physical exam except for some mild swelling in the anterior neck. There is no exudative pharyngitis. Here is a picture of her neck.

Initial Diagnostic Testing:
CBC: normal
Chem-7: normal
Rapid strep: negative
COVID PCR: negative
