When prompted for their closing thoughts, Coyle mentioned the “window of opportunity concept” of early treatment first, along with the importance of “a wellness, health maintenance, vascular risk factor program to really improve CNS function.” Dhib-Jalbut chose to “emphasize the role of the MRI now in managing the disease,” specifically at least the 1.5 Tesla MRI from a good facility. Lublin said, “there’s always something we can do, from the very early patient we’re starting on disease-modifying therapy to the patient with severe disease where we can manage their various symptoms to make their lives better.”
