With youth sports being governed by a wide range of bodies and rules dictating how concussions and other injuries are handled Frank Conidi, MD, DO, MS, from the Florida Center for Headache and Sports Neurology said there are a number of challenges to making sports universally healthy for athletes in youth and scholastic sports. Conidi presented the results of a recent study on the topic during the 68th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Neurology in Vancouver.
