The 2011 Annual Meeting and Clinical Congress of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists

Where: The Manchester Grand Hyatt and the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA

The AACE 2011 Annual Meeting “offers attendees the opportunity to hear expert lectures and participate in interactive discussions through a variety of educational sessions and symposia, an exhibition hall with 70+ companies and organizations sharing how their products and services can help attendees better serve their patients, a variety of networking and social events where AACE members and all attendees can meet new people and also catch up with colleagues and old friends.”

Looking for something to do while you’re in town? The AACE will offer a guide to San Diego attractions at the conference concierge desk. Additional tourism and visitor information is available online.

Of course, no trip to San Diego would be complete without a visit to the world-famous San Diego Zoo.

Satellite Symposia at AACE 2011

This year’s conference will feature several 90-minute accredited educational satellite symposia delivered by expert faculty. While there is no additional fee to attend these symposia, advance registration is required.

The 2011 AACE annual meeting will feature a half-day Advanced Diabetes Update program. Download the agenda here.

This year’s meeting will also offer a Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Learning Session that will feature two American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) medical knowledge modules: Endocrinology Update 2010 & 2011. This session is designed “to facilitate completion of ABIM medical knowledge modules in order for attendees to receive Maintenance of Certification credit from ABIM. The session is conducted in an interactive group setting and is led by ABIM-certified physicians.” Click here to learn more about the program.
