With so many patients dealing with diabetes on a daily basis the burden of trying to help can be too much for even the biggest and most advanced companies. By working together they can not only reach more patients but also provide a higher level of care.

With so many patients dealing with diabetes on a daily basis the burden of trying to help can be too much for even the biggest and most advanced companies. By working together they can not only reach more patients but also provide a higher level of care.

Huzefa Neemuchwala, Sr., from Medtronic discussed some of the partnerships his company has been involved in, including one with IBM Watson which aims to use the technological advances of both companies to help this patient population. He discussed this topic during the American Diabetes Association's annual meeting in New Orleans.
