WHAT: Renal Week 2010 -- the 43rd Annual Meeting and Scientific Exposition of the American Society of Nephrology

WHERE: Denver, Colorado

WHEN: November 16-21, 2010

With the theme this year of “Advancing Science and Medicine to Improve Kidney Health,” Renal Week 2010 is designed “to cover major areas in basic, translational, and clinical sciences that will appeal to all Renal Week participants. Four featured topics will be highlighted at this year's meeting: Epithelial Transport and Cell Biology, Renal Immunology and Transplantation, New Insights into Glomerular Structure and Function, and Kidney Development and Stem Cells.”

At the conclusion of Renal Week 2010, participants will have “increased knowledge in the field of nephrology” and will be able to “identify recent discoveries in basic, translational, and clinical research in nephrology, construct new research questions based on updated scientific and clinical advances in nephrology-related disciplines, and translate recent advances in the areas of general nephrology, dialysis, transplantation, and hypertension into new standards and approaches to clinical care of patients with kidney diseases and related disorders.”

Exhibit hall hours for Renal Week 2010 are:

  • Thursday, November 18: 9:30am — 2:30pm
  • Friday, November 19: 9:30am — 2:30pm
  • Saturday, November 20: 9:30pm — 2:30pm

Late-breaking Clinical Trials at Renal Week 2010

The Late-Breaking Clinical Trial Session (oral abstracts) will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 10:30am - 12:3pm.
