While a considerable amount of progress has been made in the treatment of prostate and breast cancer the field of pancreatic cancer has not seen as much success in helping this patient population.

Working at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia Jonathon R. Brody, PhD, is working to learn more about the condition in hopes of helping his colleagues in the clinic provide more treatment options for their patients. While his lab works on other forms of cancer as well Brody said most the work is focused on this deadly condition and what can be done to make it more treatable like other forms of cancer.
