According to Joseph Rogers, MD, Duke University, the HFSA has grown positively over the years to become a platform showcasing high level science, as evidenced through the late breakers that were presented.

Joseph Rogers, MD, Duke University discussed that the common question now is, "Can you replicate what you've done in other centers?" According to Rogers, this is an interesting outlook, because a lot of the palliative care interventions seem to be somewhat dependent upon the individuals delivering the intervention. On discussing the growth of HFSA, Rogers provided an overview of the late breakers presented at the meeting.
