According to Kevin Campbell, MD, from the University of North Carolina, health care professionals from the most veteran of doctors to those just out of medical school can help their patients and their practice by using social media in the most effective ways possible. Social media, he said, can also be a good way of dispelling false information that patients might find other places on the internet.
