A recently concluded survey looked at issues most affecting patients with multiple sclerosis that they may not have been willing or able to discuss with healthcare providers but could help others with the condition in the future.

Matt Mandel, MD, from Sanofi Genzyme discussed the results of the Vs.MS survey which asked patients about quality of life issues. Mandel, speaking at the annual meeting of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers, said the the survey found issues like cognition and bladder control to be of particular interest to these patients, which he said showed they are important issues for providers to pay attention to as well.
