Patients with conditions like atrial fibrillation have different needs than even other cardiology patients which can make the need for these specialized interests that much more important. Mellanie True Hills, from StopAfib.org discussed how doctors can help not only their patients but also themselves by directing them to one of these groups. HIlls' group was one of many in attendance for the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology in Chicago.
