Seasonal allergies may be a common problem for patients, but for those who have allergies all year long, their treatment provides its own set of challenges for allergists. Even once there are prescriptions available to patients making them affordable can be a whole other issue for doctors and patients.

James L. Sublett, MD, of Family Allergy and Asthma in Kentucky addressed some of these issues during the the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Annual Meeting in Houston. Sublett also serves as the president of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
