Christina Surawicz, MD, Harbor View Medical Center, discussed at the 2015 American College of Gastroenterology Annual Scientific Meeting how chronic diarrhea is a real clinical challenge.

Additionally, when talking about her interest in C. diff, probiotics, and stool transplants, Surawicz said, "The probiotics didn't work well enough to cure patients, but the stool transplants miraculously did."
