Zobair M. Younossi, MD, MPH, FACP, FACG, AGAF, from Inova Fairfax Hospital discussed what the advancements in treatment have meant to helping improve quality of life for patients and what work remains to be done during Digestive Disease Week in Washington DC. Younossi said even as recently as 5 years ago he could not have predicted how far treatment would have come and looks forward to seeing the condition's status in 5 more years.
