Ravid Prasad, PhD: Do These Pain Interventions Improve Function?

Ravi Prasad, Phd, Stanford University, shared his work with the Stanford Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Pain Program to help improve patient quality of life.

At PAINWeek 2016, Ravi Prasad, PhD, Stanford University, explained that he and his team are working on intervention programs to help patients optimize their use of medications and teach them behavioral ways of managing pain. Prasad shared, "We have them work with occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, all in an effort to achieve higher quality of life without relying on drugs."
