CMSC 2012: Restaurants in San Diego

This year's Constorium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers Annual Meeting is being hosted in San Diego known for its fresh seafood and wines. Although the CMSC is hosting a number of dinners for attendees, it is always good to know about other restaurants worth eating at in San Diego.

El Indio - Authentic, family-owned Mexican restaurant and tortilla factory run by a father-daughter team.

Hob Hob Hill - Overgrown coffee shop serving chicken and dumplings, plus other local favorites, for over 60 years.

Blue Water Seafood Market and Grill - Located in a fish market run by two brothers.

Tioli's Crazee Burger - A burger joint that serves 30 kinds of burgers including ostrich, alligator, and Angus beef.

Other notable restaurants

Truluck's - Located in University City, Truluck's is known for its seafood thanks to its crabbing fleet of no less than 16 boats off the coast of Naples, FL. Crab dishes are served within 24 hours of being caught. The restaurant also offers steakdishes for those who do not eat seafood. For wine connoisseurs, Truluck's has 100 wines for sampling, by the glass, and the bottle.

Bertrand at Mister A's - This downtown restaurant is atop of a skyscaper with a menu offering land and sea entrees which can be enjoyed on the patio or in the bar.

Baci Ristorante - A classic Italian restaurant showcasing fresh seafood, succulent meat, and rich accompaniments. Restaurant decor features art deco accents with the option to eat on the patio should it be a nice night.

Donovan's of La Jolla - The menu offers USDA Prime steak with other options including Australian rack of lamb and North Atlantic salmon. Like most restaurants in San Diego, the restaurant features an excellent wine list.
