Rosario Ligresti, MD, from Hackensack University Medical Center, now known as HackensackUMC, discussed how the field has changed and how doctors are adjusting to these changes to provide patients the best care possible. Despite being located in the shadows of New York City Ligresti said it is reassuring to patients to know that the Hackensack hospital and its affiliates can provide the same high level of care without having to cross to the other side of the Hudson River.
