Uriel R. Felsen, MD, from Montefiore Health System discussed how the mandate has been implemented and what it could mean for patient care overall during a recent interview with MD Magazine. Felsen said the law was passed after a revision of previous recommendations that have been in use elsewhere for nearly a decade. Felsen said the goal was to not target specific at risk patient populations but rather to make testing available to all patients.
