Valerie Garret, MD, from Mission Health System in North Carolina discussed recent research they had done after transitioning to the Glucommander system during the American Diabetes Association's annual meeting in New Orleans. Garrett noted that by using the system it helped not only with their personnel but also was more cost effective.
