When managing a health care system of any size there can be any number of challenges encountered on a daily basis. What resources they have to address those challenges and how they address those issues can determine the quality of patient care they are able to provide.

William Lunn, MD, President and CEO of the Tulane Health System addressed some of these issues during a recent interview with MD Magazine. Lunn, who has been in his current position for just over a year discussed several issues including how they system determines how best to provide the latest technology and what can be done to help move the system forward while still providing a high quality of care to patients. As part of a much larger hospital system Lunn also talked about how that affects the way they work at Tulane and what thtat means for not only patients but employees as well.
