Diclofenac Sodium 1% Gel Helps Reduce Osteoarthritis Pain
June 20th 2012Diclofenac sodium 1% gel, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory treatment, was found to be superior to vehicle gel for reducing osteoarthritis pain in the finger joints in a study presented at the American College of Sports Medicine’s 59th Annual Meeting in San Francisco.
Osteoporosis Organization Questions Calcium Supplementation–Heart Attack Link
June 20th 2012In response to a study published in the journal Heart that suggested a link between calcium supplementation and an increased risk of heart attack, the National Osteoporosis Foundation stated that the findings are inconclusive and that more research is needed to better understand the potential relationship between calcium supplements and heart attack risk.
