A 54-year-old woman presents to the emergency department with severe right flank pain. Her history includes renal stones, blunt abdominal trauma, and splenectomy. Acomputed tomography (CT) scan shows evidence of intraperitoneal mass lesions but no evidence of renal stones or signs of obstruction (Figure 1). A technetium Tc 99m sulfur colloid scan reveals the diagnosis (Figure 2).
