Ambulatory CNS Drugs in the Pipeline

Over the next 2 years the market is expected to be exploding with new drugs for insomnia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other central nervous system (CNS) ­conditions. The following Table lists some of the agents that are currently in the pipeline and the estimated year of their becoming available, according to the “2006 Drug Trend Report,” which is based on drug use among the more than 55 million members of Medco, the largest pharmacy benefit management company in the country.
