Physician's Money Digest
Dear Dr. Brown,
Your April 2006 editorial concerning debt hit close to home. In my younger days I racked up a significant amount of debt on my credit cards, spending freely without thinking about the future consequences. I was just one of those typical twenty-somethings who thought it was basically free money and I could just pay it off anytime I want. Little did I know how it would come to affect my life, as I try to pay it off (amid astronomical APRs) while paying my other bills and saving for retirement. You can bet I’ll teach my children not to make the same mistakes.
