The incidence of diabetes in the US continues to grow – 11.5% in 2016. Dr. Lazzara looks at a state-by-state breakdown.

In this Medical News Minute, developed exclusively for Endocrinology Network, Dr. Bobby Lazzara reviews a study examining diabetes incidence in 190 communities nationwide and each state. UT, RI, and CO had less than 8% of their adult residents diagnosed with diabetes and in AL and WV, more than 16% of the adult population had diabetes.
