Fibromyalgia Patients Receive Laser Treatment

A laser treatment developed by Microlight Corp. of America has successfully treated patients with fibromyalgia, according to a new release on the company's website.

The patented laser, ML830, treats pain and swelling associated with the disease. It was the first low level laser approved by the FDA in 2002. It works by causing vassal dilation in the Micro Capillart bed and produces no heat to the tissue. The company reports that the laser is painless and has no side effects.
