WHAT: 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting of the American College of Rheumatology and the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals

WHERE: Atlanta, Georgia

WHEN: November 7-11

The 2010 ACR/ARHP Annual Scientific Meeting will feature the latest rheumatology science and best-practices “presented through peer-reviewed and selected clinical and scientific abstracts, and invited speakers providing clinical, evidence-based, and quality focused content.” Attendees can participate in a diverse educational experience that includes “didactic lectures, debates, and interactive sessions, such as poster tours, Meet the Professors, and Workshop sessions.” The meeting will also provide “a larger forum for discussion of practical management issues” and present “extensive learning opportunities in the basic science of rheumatology, through courses developed by a subcommittee of US and internationally prominent basic scientists.” This year’s meeting will offer several new features, including new and expanded meeting tracks, a SessionSelect online archive of audio and video recordings, and guided poster tours.

Exhibit hall hours for the ACR/ARHP 2010 Annual Meeting are:

Monday, November 8: 9:00am — 5:00pm

Tuesday, November 9: 9:00am — 7:00pm

Wednesday, November 10: 9:00am — 2:00pm

There is an ACR Exhibit Hall Wine and Cheese Reception scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, November 9, from 5:15 -- 6:45pm

An up-to-date exhibit hall floor plan is available online. Stop by booth #555 to check out the Innovation Theater, where you can “gain insight into the latest developments in the field of rheumatology” through a series of 45-minute presentations in which vendors “showcase their noteworthy products and/or services.”
