While traditional machines like CPAPs can be difficult to work with at first Kimberly A. Hardin, MD, from UC Davis Health System said there are potential adjustments that can be made to help patients adjust to their new way of sleeping whether they have central apnea, obstructive sleep apnea, or another sleep disorder. There are also other forms of the machine which can adjust the comfort level for patients at night.
