From the time a patient enters pulmonary rehab until their condition runs its course a total team effort is required to ensure the best results possible.

Kimberly A. Hardin, said with her program at with UC Davis Health System the process runs in 4-week intervals to gauge success of the treatment and looking for ways to adjust to ensure patients get the most benefit from the work. As the patients work their way through the process Hardin said success has ranged from playing sports to singing christmas carols as a way to show that the rehabilitation is helping them return as close to their normal lives as possible.
