As the American Heart Association wrapped up another successful conference in New Orleans, each of the approximately 18,000 providers in attendance was bringing home something new to their practices or optimism for new treatments to come in the future.

As the American Heart Association wrapped up another successful conference in New Orleans, each of the approximately 18,000 providers in attendance was bringing home something new to their practices or optimism for new treatments to come in the future.

Serving as the program chair of this year's meeting, Frank W. Sellke, MD, from Brown University was directly involved in helping determine what those lessons would be and said he believed with so many people in attendance the impact of the sessions would be felt for a long time to come. From networking to learning the latest technological and pharmaceutical treatments, Sellke said there is something for everyone at the meeting.
