Looking to be the "Global Leader" in clinical education in pulmonary critical care and sleep medicine can be a daunting task but with their annual meeting the team at CHEST looks to impart the latest information to their members to provide the best care for patients.

Barbara A. Phillips, MD, MSPH, from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine discussed the role of the organization during its annual meeting in Montreal. Phillips, who specializes in sleep medicine, also serves as president of the group and said the annual event provides something for everyone in attendance.

There are many sleep disorders which doctors are treating on a daily basis. For pulmonologists, the question is how many of these conditions should be part of their regular practice.
