Paul A. Gurbel, MD, from Inova Health Systems discussed a new potential time released treatment which he said could prove beneficial for patients with diabetes and other conditions and also minimize the effect on the gastrointestinal system. Gurbel was one of thousands of health care professionals taking part in the American Heart Association's annual scientific sessions in Orlando.
