And while people around the world are used to plugging their ear buds into their iphone to listen to music researchers in florida are developing a way to plug the HeartBuds into the phone to serve as a 21st centruy edition of the traditional medical tool. Ricky Patel, a student at the University of Florida College of Medicine, and David Bello, MD, from Orlando Regional Medical Center, discussed the development of this technology during the American Heart Association's annual scientific sessions in Orlando.
