Those who are especially susceptible to cardiac problems such as heart attacks, arrhythmias, and heart failure should be extra careful on Christmas, and more important, on December 26th. CNN has posted their annual report explaining why “the day after Christmas is hazardous to your heart.” Aside from an influx of ER inpatients in the days following Christmas, other factors are at play, such as hospital staffing issues.

As many of us know all too well, the holidays can sometimes be stressful. Lots of travel and visits to those who you might not see often enough can lead to some hectic times. Luckily for you, the Mayo Clinic has 10 tips for coping with holiday stress.
