On Wednesday, March 24, during the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) 2010 Meeting, several HOPA Recognition Awards were presented. The award recipients were as follows:

2010 HOPA Award of Excellence

Val R. Adams, PharmD, FCCP, BCOP

An innovative clinician, educator, and researcher whose tireless efforts to advance the profession of oncology pharmacy have forever changed the profession.

2010 HOPA New Practitioner Award

LeAnn Best Norris, PharmD, BCPS, BCOP

An exceptional mentor and role model who has stimulated the love of oncology pharmacy in many young students. Always keeping the patient first!

2010 HOPA Technician Award

Therese McGrain, CPhT

A remarkable clinician who touches the lives of cancer patients every single day by ensuring that they receive the medications they need.

2010 HOPA Oncology Pharmacy Practice Literature Award
